Inspired By New Educational Product Eight Year Old Takes Up Entrepreneurial Challenge
Orlando, Florida – March 8, 2011 –Eight year old Faith Sechrest was with her mother when she came across The Little Green Money Machine (LGMM) a revolutionary new product for kids that promotes youth entrepreneurship and teaches kids how to start their own business. The LGMM system which includes a mobile business stand and interactive book is being showcased and retailed at the Lifestyles Gym in Lake Mary, FL. A whole new level and meaning to the neighborhood lemonade stand. Faith was the first customer and is motivated to start her own company as an entrepreneur.
The Little Green Money Machine, with it's book and business stand, helps kids learn how to set goals, set-up their first business, and lays the foundation of financial literacy and social entrepreneurship. The revolutionary new system can be used by individual kids who want to start their own business in their neighborhoods and communities, as well as classrooms, youth groups, and nonprofits.

Faith, a second grader at Choices in Learning, elementary charter school located in Longwood, Florida, says she is very excited to start becoming an entrepreneur. She says her first business will be a snack shop called Face Snack Time. Her mother, Angela Sechrest, says she will help Faith in reaching her goal to raise enough money to purchase an American Girl Doll, but says she will advise Faith to put the rest of her money into savings. Faith has also signed up for the LGMM Kids in Biz Club where she has a chance to win scholarships and a trip to Disney simply by sending in a short 2 minute video of the business she starts, using the LGMM book and stand, her goal and how much money she made or raised.
"The post-recession economy in Florida is bleak for jobs and opportunities for young adults;even teen unemployment is at an all-time high. Nationwide today, there are two million college graduates nationwide that can’t find jobs. We must prepare our youth for a different future. We are entering a new age, The Age of the Entrepreneur. K-12 schools are not preparing our youth for this future. Most kids that graduate high school don't even know what the word entrepreneur is, let alone are provided the skills to know how to start their own business. We launched the Little Green Money Machine to teach kids, in a fun way, how to start their own business and be successful entrepreneurs, which lays a foundation for them to build on in the future. Entrepreneurship is contagious at all age levels. If you can play business, you can learn business." - Anthony Delmedico, Founder of Del Visionaries, LGMM
Lifestyles Family Fitness in Lake Mary, Florida, has teamed up with Del Visionaries and is showcasing and retailing the LGMM system;the book, Kids in Business Around the World, as well as the mobile business stand, in their locations to promote youth entrepreneurship, a growing topic in Orlando, Florida due to the post-recession economy.
